| wtf... does anyone even use xanga any more? I'm sorry, but I think I'm giving up on this, Sam is the only one I know that reads this, and everyone's too busy to update anyway... guess it's time to look into facebook... joy...
Goodbye my xanga, dear friend!
| Ok, so I deffinately won't be updating again for a long while, but I do have some interesting things to put on here this time. I only wish I had pictures to go with some of them.
So first things first, I was on a missions trip in the Appalachias on the Tennessee, North Carolina, Georgia border. It was pretty sweet I must say. The camp we stayed at was in Tennessee, and.... ew, big bugs, disgusting showers, and sewer problems. Nothing of interest there other than the horses (which I got to ride. ) and the multiple dogs who ran around the property. Georgia was much better, we went to an all you can eat pizza buffet, it was sweet!!! Probably the only good food we had all week too lol! But anyway, about the mission thing: We were working on this lady's house trying to repair some stuff and repaint it and everything. Megan got the lovely job of "ladder girl" the whole time... meaning I got to get up on the ladder and paint the hard to reach spots on the house. That was actually really fun, but really really creepy, I don't really like heights that much. The best part though was the building of the dog house. This dog house had to be huge because... well... the lady's dog wasn't really a dog. It was 1/6 German Shepard and the rest was 100% wolf. His name was Wiley and he was soooo cute! It was sort of funny since half of the people who worked on the house were terrified of him. He was really rather harmless, people shy I guess. I just wish I had a picture of him to show all of you, but stupid me left my camera at home.
Hmmm... well, I'm leaving for Michigan today, so that should be fun.
Oh! I went to the fireworks and concert in the park thing at the McKinley Monument with Andrew last night. That was a lot of fun, good music, and really awesome fireworks. Plus Doug and Steph showed up, so we sort of hung out playing cards and stuff. All in all, really awesome night. And yeah I did do some other stuff this summer, but nothing else was really exciting lol!
I wish you all an amazing summer and there will be another update next month!
| I hope you'll all forgive me for not writing in awhile. I really haven't had much to update on though.
Neal turned 50 a few days ago, and my mom and step-brother's birthdays are coming up soon.
I leave for a missons trip in Tenessee in 9 days, and shortly after coming home I'll be headed up to Michigan for about two weeks.
The deplorable ACT is on Saturday, so unfortunately there goes a day of sleeping in that I will sorely miss.
Other than that there's not much going on for me this summer. I have to be a nanny/housekeeper for at least two days a week for my mother this summer, but other than than that I'm not doing anything. So, if anyone gets bored, feel free to call me, I'd like to do something other than sit on my butt all summer.
| Alright, French Club Banquet was totally sweet, and I got to catch up with some old aquaintences I haven't seen in awhile and such. I must say, when it comes to food, French club has to do the best. =) Thanks to all of those who helped make tonight such a success!
In other news... well... there isn't much. I have an AP test tomorrow and a college visit on Friday, so that pretty much sums things up. Prom is in a little less than two weeks and it should be totally amazing. I can't wait to see everyone in all their pretty dresses! =)
| So... *cough* about me not updating for two months, just realized that... as a current update, I am no longer dating Andrew, but we're not getting into that whole lovely drama... I am single and I like it that way, seriously, I do. I do not hate Andrew (well duh, he's my closest friend), however... I like freedom. 'Tis good to be free.
Anyway, I'll be needing a prom date/group to go with and dress, so if people could give me suggestions on either I'd love you... not that I don't already love you all anyway.
Hmmm... what else is new... I missed the whole Happy St. Patrick's Day and Easter thing... You people think I'm nuts for not updating in so long... or updating at all at this point.
CHICAGO!!! Yes I am leaving for Chicago in 6 days! WEEEEE!!!!! It's probably going to be one of the most amazing trips ever! Florida might have a run for it's money... I love shopping and pretty things, and yeah... Chicago's just awesome like that.
By the way, Chemistry is still being annoying. English is still amazing. Everything else is more or less just there... with the exception of AP Psych... that's more like entertainment than a class to me though, not that I don't try in there or anything...
I hope you're all wonderful!
